For the first time since COVID-19, community members will have the chance to see waste facilities up close and personal.

EnviroCom will deliver a facility tour of the Ophir and Euchareena Road Resource Recovery Centre on September 30, 2020. The Central Western Daily interviewed Environmental Consultant Jo Smith, about the tour, and the COVID-19 precautions in place. “It will be a good experience for people who would like to know how Orange deals with our recycling, general and organic waste”, says Jo, adding, “We have a COVID safe plan in place and are following the regulations and recommendations set by Orange City Council and the NSW health department”. Similar events held in the Orange City Council area in the past have been well received, and EnviroCom are excited to commence facility tours with the community again. Tour bookings can be organised here. Places are strictly limited.
